I am a Korean now! To become a Korean! As a Korean or going to Korea, the Changwon Immigration Foreign Office plays the role of a bridge for the first step

In March 2023, the establishment of the Overseas Immigration Office, the control tower of the Immigration Office, began in earnest. Also, new service of foreigners, including Koreans in and outside the country, has started.
First of all, I looked at the various programs of the Changwon Immigration Office, which is in charge of various visas, sojourn, nationality, investigation, protection, violation, and ship operations for foreigners, ethnic Koreans, and immigrants.

Every year in May, there is an event that excites immigrants and foreigners. The 16th World People’s Day event this year is approaching in collaboration with the Family Support Department of the Women’s and Family Bureau of Gyeongsangnam-do Province. This year, it is expected that it will be operated in the style of a cheerful sports event.
Program for foreigners: The Korean language visa navigator, produced and distributed around December 2022, is a sojourn guide for foreigners who are staying in Korea or who want to stay in Korea. You can get a rough overview of whether you can go with the qualifications. It also contains information for the convenience of civil complaints, such as major consultation cases and various reporting obligations. An English translation is currently in preparation.
In particular, the 5th section of the Visa Navigator is very helpful as there are various cases of major consultations at the Information Center for Foreigners. Cases such as notification of change of place of stay, notification of change of passport, and re-entry permission can be reviewed in a question-and-answer format.
