Changwon city takes over ‘Competition flag of International Shooting Sport Federation’

 Changwon which is the venue for ‘the 52nd ISSF World Shooting Championship in 2018 took over the competition flag from ISSF in September 19th.
 The party concerned with the city and Korea Shooting Federation along with the city mayor, Ahn,Sangsoo took over the competition flag from ISSF in September 19th by participating in the closing ceremony of ‘the 51st ISSF World Shooting Championship’ which was held at Juan Carlos I of Spain Olympic Shooting Range in Granada, Spain in September 19th.

 The city mayor, Ahn, Sangsoo said “he will do utmost effort to set up the competition by building a stadium as well as strengthening the partnership with government, local governments, competent institutes etc to hold successfully the 52nd ISSF World Shooting Championship which will be held at Changwon in 2018 with the acquisition of contest flag”.
 In addition, Changwon explained the preparatory status of next competition through the meeting with the leaders of ISSF(International Shooting Sport Federation) before closing ceremony and proceeded the promotional activity of investment attraction.

 The next competition, ‘the 52nd ISSF World Shooting Championship’ will be held at Changwon Main Shooting Range in September, 2018, hence, Changwon is currently in
the midst of re-building Changwon Shooting Range which is geared towards the standard of International Shooting Range.
 Additionally, it plans to get ready for competition, e.g. operation of game, media facilities, cultural event, promotion, marketing etc by composing the organizing committee and preparation group.
