Changwon City has launched a city tour bus program. The city selected Bus Join Co. as operator of the program. The company runs two new 45-seat buses for the tour program from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
In addition to 18 current “tour commentators,” the city has recruited a number of “tourism commentators” for the “story-telling” city bus tour program since February.
The tour program is available every day, except Seollal (the Lunar New Year’s Day) and Chuseok holiday. The tour starts at the Reunion Plaza and the KTX Changwon Jungang Station. Passengers of the high-speed KTX train can ride the tour bus at the Jungang Station.
Tourists can take seven different tours. Buses circle major tourist spots such as museums, art galleries, marine parks and historic sites. Those who are interested in the Changwon City tour bus program are advised to make reservations three days before the tour through Internet or telephone.
Admission to all facilities run by the city is free. Visitors are required to pay admission and other fees at amusement parks. For more information, call +82-55-225-3702
